SANDEWILY
Steel, heat and patience — the way SANDEWILY is built
SANDEWILY began with a simple frustration: knives that looked impressive but failed on the cutting board. We build kitchen and outdoor knives around the only thing that matters — how the blade feels in your hand, ten seconds before the first cut.

01
Why we started
We spent years selling knives before making our own. We learned what buyers actually complain about: handles that loosen, edges that dull in months, and blades that chip. SANDEWILY exists to fix those three things, at a price that does not require a special occasion.
02
The steel
Our blades use high-carbon stainless steel with a laser-etched pattern: 5Cr15MoV hardened to 56±2 HRC, with a 15° per-side edge. The pattern is cut by laser straight into the steel — no printing, no coated film — so it still reads clearly after years of kitchen work.
03
The handle
Every handle is pakkawood — resin-stabilised hardwood laminated under pressure. It will not crack, swell or come loose the way glued-on scales do. The red-and-black layering is our signature; balance is tuned so the pinch grip lands naturally just behind the bolster.
04
The promise
Each knife passes a three-stage inspection before it ships: edge geometry, handle integrity and balance. If a SANDEWILY knife ever fails you in normal use, our lifetime warranty has you covered. No registration forms, no fine print games.
